Changes

Our family has gone through quite a bit in the past few months! Let's start with the pregnany!

We found out that we are having a little girl!! We are naming her Jocelyn BreAnn!! We chose Jocelyn because we needed a name that was equally unique as Taegan, and we just absolutely love this name!! BreAnn is a combination of Stephen's mother, Brenda, and one of my mother's middle names, Ann. This would be the reason why it is spelled the way it is, and the reason of the random capital "A" in the middle! Her name could not fit her any better, Jocelyn means light hearted, playful, and BreAnn means Strong! She is most definitely playful even in my belly! haha But mostly she is so so strong. When we went to find out the sex, we were told that whe has two holes in her little heart that would hopefully close before she is born. God has blessed us so much with her! According to ultrasounds they have closed, and her heart is doing perfect. We were also told that day that we would have lost her if I would hae come just a couple days later. My cervix was almost to the point of opening, and was way too thin! I immediately got put into the hospital, had to have an amnio done to make sure there were no infections, and had surgery to stich my cervix the very next morning. We thank God for everything about Jocelyn! IT has been nothing but him working in our lives, and saving our precious daughter! She truely is a blessing already, and we can not wait to meet her in January or February!

Steve was finally able to get through the with all his active duty Army processing, and we are now stationed in Fort Benning, GA! Steve has been here since October 6th, but Taegan and I just moved here two days ago. trying to get housing, and our furniture moved here took way longer than we thought, but everything happens for a reason! We are living on post in a brand new town home. It is beautiful, we couldn't have asked for anything better!! Taegan seems to really like it here, and our families are happy that we are happy! Of course that does not mean they are happy about us being 5 hours away, but we will be back to visist at least twice a month. :) I think that's about all for now!

It's been quite a while!

So, Where to start first?? I am 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant! :) Steve and I have a lot of changes going on in our life right now! We are trying to go active duty, and right now it is just a waiting game! after we get the final word, we will be going active hopefully not too far away from home! We will have to sell our house, so we've been trying to get it ready for that! Now back to the pregnancy! We are hoping for a girl, but either will be fine, but this pregnancy has been a lot more difficult than the first. I've been a lot more tired, and today I just found out that I have severe bladder and kidney infections going on. VERY PAINFUL! I'm hoping my antibiotics kick in very soon! Taegan is doing wonderful, he's growing up and getting so much smarter every day! It's so much fun watching him learn new things! He keeps saying he wants a baby "sitter" (sister) too cute! :) Brent and Jenna got married 2 months ago today! they are very happy, and doing wonderful! Well, That's about all for now, if I think of anything I'll update! :)

No more facebook for a month!!

My church family is doing a church wide fast! You have to give something up that you enjoy, but can live without (of course with a Little work)! I have decided to give up soda, junk food, and the hardest one will be facebook! It started yesterday and goes thru April 1st!! we shall see how I do! I also have made the commitment to read my bible everyday until I have read it all!! Wish me luck!!! :)

So, it has been absolutely beautiful here for a couple of weeks, and I look outside just now, and it's SNOWING!!!! What in the world? Our weather has been crazy this winter! Hopefully spring will come soon!!

Steve started his new job about a month ago! He is now a Spartanburg County Corrections Officer!! He loves it most day, but it's the 17 hour shifts that get him! I have started looking for a 1st shift CNA job so we can put Taegan in daycare and he can sleep during the time I'm working. Both of us working third is really hard having to throw Taegan around every weekend.

I know I'm a slacker when it comes to updating this, but hopefully I will be able to do better now that I'm not consuming my life in facebook!! I might actually get up and clean my house better too! ha ha I hope everyone has a blessed day!!
